I have one ordered - it should be here any day now.

Like wind tunnels - another art form - another dream to dream.

I'm sure the people doctor Leakey digs up in Africa looked up
in the sky at the pteradactyls flying by and wanted to do it.

Fly.

Soar.

Ride the wind.

I could reminisce about the wing jumpers at Taft in the 60's,
Tom Sitton, Lyle Cameron, Red Grant ... others. Or the Army Team
tracking their diamond around and doing a bomb burst right over
the crowd. Or my own life long fascination with large scale RW
with the whole planet.

Or speak of designated areas for each wing group to open in as
they converge back over the drop zone to transition to canopy mode.

But I think I'll make a few hundred jumps and see what the wind
and the wings have to tell me first.
